Gary Gereau is an international hair stylist, platform artist, Owner of Thrive Beauty Institute, and professional hair care educator. This Tennessee native began his journey in 2000, embracing a budding passion for cosmetology. Gary moved to Nashville, TN soon after high school graduation and began cosmetology studies at the International Barber and Style College, later relocating to Jackson, TN and graduating from New Wave Hair Academy. His course of studies exposed him to many giants in the hair care industry and afforded him the opportunity to be featured in New Clientele Hair Magazine, based in Detroit, MI. Through much study and hands-on learning from his mentors, Gary has now instituted his own educational courses to allow other up-and-coming stylists the opportunity to learn proper hair technique, as well as the business aspects of salon ownership.
